Rising Peaks, an initiative of the Presbyterian and Methodist Schools Association, will provide an exciting new outdoor education and learning destination set on more than 6.97 ha of land at Lake Moogerah in the Scenic Rim.
Only 90 minutes’ drive from Brisbane, this picturesque region offers an idyllic location to deliver inspirational outdoor programs through adventure and journey-based learning.
The site is currently undergoing extensive redevelopment as we build a purpose-built facility that complements the natural environment and provides amenities that take full advantage of the outdoors.
An environment to grow
Rising Peaks will provide meaningful outdoor education and experiential learning experiences for students, with a commitment to develop students’ emotional intelligence and character through experiences beyond familiar environments.
The program will sequentially cover Early Learning to Year 12 and will integrate outdoor activities with educational purposes, fostering holistic development and environmental stewardship.
Through the establishment of Rising Peaks, we are committed to provide a life-changing journey that is deliberately low tech and creates a positive, safe, and enriching experience for students.
