The PMSA and our schools employ more than 1500 staff members in Brisbane and on the Sunshine Coast. Staff members are employed in the areas of teaching and learning, co-curricular activities (eg: music, sports, debating, chess), administration, building and grounds, and hospitality services in full-time, part-time and casual roles.

The PMSA Group Office located in Toowong provides overarching financial, governance, strategic, operational and business services to the PMSA Group. The team also provides executive support to the PMSA Board, the School Advisory Councils and the four schools.

As the governing body of our PMSA schools, the PMSA’s role is to ensure the long-term prosperity, sustainability and performance of the Group. We regularly seek qualified individuals to sit on the Board, the PMSA committees and our School Advisory Councils. As a not-for-profit Christian organisation, governance roles are unpaid, but provide invaluable opportunities for qualified professionals to give back to the community and learn from this iconic Queensland leader in education.

The PMSA recognises the valuable contribution our Australian Defence Force (ADF) veterans and reservists bring to our workforce.

We are a proud supporter of the Veterans’ Employment Program and signed the Veterans’ Employment Commitment and were recently recognised as a Bronze member of the ADF’s Supportive Employer Program, which acknowledges the role that ADF reservists play in advancing Australia’s national interests.

Each of the PMSA schools has a School Advisory Council which consists of up to five members appointed from both the school parent and wider community. Each School Advisory Council is a sub-committee of the PMSA Board and includes the school’s Principal as a non-voting member. The School Advisory Council’s Charter outlines each of the School Advisory Council’s objectives, responsibilities, and governance framework as well as their relationship to the PMSA Group.
