You may have seen a story reported by The Courier-Mail on 8 October 2025 relating to a court matter involving the Presbyterian Church of Queensland.
In relation to the PMSA, the story noted Brisbane Boys’ College, Clayfield College, Somerville House and Sunshine Coast Grammar School are not believed to be financially impacted by the Presbyterian Church of Queensland situation.
I wanted to reiterate that the PMSA is not financially impacted by the court matter. The PMSA is a separate legal entity that is governed by its own Board. The PMSA has no financial links to either of the Presbyterian Church of Queensland or the Uniting Church in Australia, Queensland Synod.
