Ms Melissa Powell, Principal of Clayfield College, has tendered her resignation, effective 17 January 2016. Melissa has accepted appointment as Principal of Seymour College (formally Presbyterian Girls' College) in Adelaide, one of Australia's leading day and boarding schools for girls.
The PMSA and the Council sincerely appreciates the energy, professionalism and dedication with which Melissa has pursued her vision for the College and assisted the Clayfield College School Council in its strategic planning. Her inspirational leadership and commitment to the future direction of Clayfield College will be remembered as the hallmark of her time as Principal.
The PMSA and the Council recognise the utmost importance and responsibility of appointing a new Principal. A professional recruitment group will assist in identifying, attracting and appointing the best possible candidate as the next Clayfield College Principal. The goals and plans established for the future of Clayfield College will continue as we prepare for the transition of leadership in 2016.
