Somerville House State Champions of Brain Bee Team Challenge

Congratulations to the Somerville House team of Year 10 students who were awarded first place in the State Finals of the Australian Brain Bee Team Challenge.
Year 10 student, Noemie, was also successful in progressing to final round of the Individual Competition, where she won an incredible second place.
Held at the Queensland Brain Institute at the The University of Queensland - UQ on Tuesday 18 July, the Australian Brain Bee Challenge (ABBC) is a competition for high school students in Year 10 to learn about the brain and its functions, learn about neuroscience research, find out about careers in neuroscience and to dispel misconceptions about neurological and mental illnesses.
