# PMSA - Presbyterian and Methodist Schools Association > The PMSA (Presbyterian and Methodist Schools Association) is a not-for-profit organisation established in 1918 as a joint mission of the Uniting Church in Australia, Queensland Synod and the Presbyterian Church of Queensland. It owns and governs four independent Christian schools in Queensland, Australia: Brisbane Boys' College (Toowong), Clayfield College (Clayfield), Somerville House (South Brisbane) and Sunshine Coast Grammar School (Forest Glen), plus Rising Peaks, an outdoor education and experiential learning destination at Lake Moogerah in the Scenic Rim. The PMSA provides the strategy, governance, policy and support framework for its schools; each school is led by its own Principal or Headmaster and has its own website.
