The PMSA Board ratified a number of new governance appointments at the 105th Annual General Meeting held on Tuesday, 13 June 2023.
Board Chair, Peter Barker and Chief Executive Officer, Shane Coppin highlighted our accomplishments for 2022 while also sharing the new governance appointments for 2023 including new Board Chair, Margaret Berry, Deputy Board Chair, Diane Bukowski and new Board member, Bethwyn Todd, who was also appointed to the Finance and Audit Committee.
Other governance announcements included Margaret Berry to the Nominations and Renumeration Committee, Peter Barker to the Finance and Audit Committee and Wayne Knapp as the Acting Chair of the Risk, Child Safeguarding and Assurance Committee.
The following School Advisory Council members were also announced with Jamie Nicol appointed to the Brisbane Boys’ College Advisory Council, Jonathon Chew to the Somerville House School Advisory Council and Bruce Swan as the Acting Chair of the Sunshine Coast Grammar School Advisory Council with both Samantha Shanahan and Christine Murphy also joining the SCGS Advisory Council.
It was also an opportunity to acknowledge and thank all our outgoing governance officers for their valuable contributions including Board Chair Peter Barker and Board member Jane Madden following the completion of their respective terms.
