Clayfield College put on a fabulous family celebration for students, staff and special guests at the College’s 90 years young birthday yesterday, with many Old Collegians coming from near and far to celebrate.
On Foundation Day – 9 February – the College was on show displaying its shared early history with Brisbane Boys’ College (BBC) from 1902, and new beginnings as the northern suburbs co-educational primary campus of Somerville House from 1931. From this humble history to today, Clayfield has forged ahead with its own rich history.
PMSA Chair Morgan Parker, Clayfield College Council members and many other special guests enjoyed the student performances showcasing the uniforms throughout time as well as the musical talent that Clayfield is so well-known for.
Happy birthday Clayfield College!
