After one of the most challenging terms in our schools’ history where our staff have been required to remain on the front line and deal with unprecedented circumstances and challenges, the PMSA new Board Chair Morgan Parker and CEO Sharon Callister reached out to all our school staff this week via video.
Personally thanking them for their vigilance in keeping their community safe and their agility and speed at which they have adapted the curriculum to an online platform, Morgan and Sharon also wished them a safe and happy and Holy Easter.
“Coronavirus has presented all of us with unprecedented challenges. Our teachers have faced the most unique circumstances having to remain on the front line for the good of the community,” says Morgan in the video.
“We also recognise that you have been working exceptionally hard to enable your students to continue to learn at home. I’d like to thank you and congratulate you for all that you have done in this regard.
“We have also been immensely impressed at the way you have been vigilant to keep your school safe. It is incredible to see the agility of our PMSA staff across our four great schools adapting to circumstances that change on an almost daily basis.
“We are strong people. This is a strong organisation. And together, we’ll get through it,” he said.
In these unusual times, a happy and Holy Easter to everyone. Stay safe and hold onto your faith.
