BBC’s and Clayfield College’s choirs showcased their music ability tonight by combining for the 10th consecutive year but this year were joined by both schools’ senior strings ensembles for an afternoon’s practice creating music magic.
Singing Festival Sanctus by John Leavitt and playing and singing Cantique de Jean Racine by Gabriel Fauré, the combined choirs and orchestras were led by BBC’s Brett Holland and Clayfield’s Angela Lockyer.
Parents and friends enjoyed listening to each school’s choirs and strings before more than 100 students combined in a powerhouse performance to celebrate the end of the semester.
