New PMSA Councillor Appointed

The PMSA is pleased to announce the appointment of BBC Old Collegian Greg Braithwaite as PMSA Councillor effective 8 May 2018.

Appointed by the Uniting Church, Greg is the Chairperson of the Church Council at the Forest Lake Uniting Church and the President of the P&F Association at St John’s Anglican College at Forest Lake.

Greg brings his strong corporate background in business planning, strategic thinking, human resources, and marketing to the PMSA Council. He also believes his knowledge and experience as P&F President for eight years provides insight to the importance of boards being relevant to a school community.

Greg is keen to make a contribution in a voluntary capacity. He would like to use his strategic planning expertise to help rebuild the reputation and connections with the PMSA community and contribute to making the board more relevant to the people within the schools.

Professionally, Greg is currently the Queensland Franchise Director of PRDnationwide. He has a long career in property and business both running his own real estate franchise as well as holding national and international roles for franchise corporate offices.

Greg’s connection with the PMSA extends beyond his attendance at BBC. His brothers both have sons at BBC and his father John Braithwaite was a PMSA Councillor during the 1980s and 1990s serving as PMSA Chairman from 1989 to 1992.
