Clayfield College in The Search for the Next Tech Girl Superhero competition
Clayfield College was featured on the ABC News, Friday 16 September, for its entry in the “Search for the Next Tech Girl Superhero” competition run by the Tech Girls Movement. This is an initiative to encourage women into information technology jobs.
Our Year 10 “Study Buddy” team of Brigette Bloom, Rebekah Meyer and Fleur Wrakuale were announced State Champions at The Cube, QUT, on Sunday 18 September by Leeanne Enoch MP, Minister for Innovation, Science and Digital Economy.
The team’s app was created to make it easier for students to connect with other students offering mentoring in school subjects.
Congratulations to our girls and to our Head of Technology, Mr Andrew Russell, who inspired the girls to exploit technology for a better future.
